Our Programmes
Three connected areas from learning to livelihood
EFFO’s programmes are organised around three connected areas of work that support the journey from learning to livelihood. They are designed for displaced populations and vulnerable host communities, with particular attention to children, adolescents, and young people facing structural barriers.
Learning Environments
We improve the spaces where children learn through classroom construction, rehabilitation, school WASH, and other basic school infrastructure that supports safe and effective education.
- Classroom construction in underserved areas
- Rehabilitation of existing school buildings
- Provision of desks & classroom furniture
- Solar lighting where electricity is limited
- Gender-sensitive school WASH facilities
- Handwashing stations & safe water access
